MARGUERITE ANNE MURRAY Suddenly, on March 30, 2001, Marguerite Anne Murray (Brown) died at her home in Onanole, Man. She is survived by her husband Jim; son Ryan; sister Beverly and her husband Jim of Winnipeg; brother Ken and his wife Marilyn of Vancouver; sister Debbie of Blind Bay, B.C.; brother Peter and his wife, Beth of Comox, B.C. and Jims brother Dennis and his wife Audrey of Winnipeg. Margie was predeceased by her father Doug Brown of Winnipeg; her mother Harriet Sanderson (Duncan) and her second husband, Arthur Sanderson, of Carman, Man. She also leaves to mourn aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Margie was born and raised in Winnipeg, Man., where she taught elementary school in St. James Assiniboia for ten years. She later moved with her husband and son to live in Onanole, adjacent to Riding Mountain National Park where she and her husband have owned and operated the Pizza Place in Wasagaming, Man., for the past 23 years. In 1995, Margie started her third career where she and her husband headed to Manitobas North to accept teaching jobs in Garden Hill First Nation in the Island Lake area. Margie became the Music Teacher of a 550 student elementary school. She excelled in her new career and she and her husband met many lifelong friends over the next four years. Margie was a special person to all who came in contact with her. She enjoyed her life to the fullest and has made a mark on all of our lives. She will be missed by all of her friends and family in Winnipeg, Onanole, Garden Hill First Nation, Little Saskatchewan First Nation and elsewhere. Services will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue, at 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 4. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to a charity of your choice.
