NORMAN LESSARD 1912 - 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Lessard, beloved husband of Alma, on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at the Tache Nursing Home. His memory will be cherished by his wife Alma (nee Boivin) of 67 years; daughter Debbie and her husband Albert Saltel and two granddaughters, Joelle and Sylvie. He is survived by his brothers, Roland (Anna) and Odie (Sirkka) his sisters, Leonnie Swartz, Armance (Gerard) Prairie, and Fernande (Frank) Seimens; special brother-in-law Alcide (Louise) Boivin; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express gratitude to the staff on 4ABC of Tache Nursing Home for their kindness and dedication to Norman while in their care. Donations in Normans memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society in lieu of flowers. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral. Reception to follow the mass.
