MARY-ANN (POLLY) ANDERSON Passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2001 at Park Manor Personal Care Home, aged 102 years. Polly was predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew Anderson in November, 1983. Polly was born in County Kincardinshire, Scotland, December 11, 1898 and came to Winnipeg in 1927. She is the last of the Cooper family, predeceased by two brothers and seven sisters. She was always proud of her Scottish heritage and was a member of the Sons of Scotland and Melrose Camp 126. Polly was a very proud and caring person. She is survived by one brother-in-law Bert Riddoch, many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Scotland. The family would like to thank the staff of Park Manor Personal Care Home for their kindness and caring for the past seven and one half years she was a resident there. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel at 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Joe Redpath officiating. The service will terminate at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Park Manor Personal Care Home, 301 Redonda St., Winnipeg, MB R2C 1L7 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
