CARL WENZEL Carl passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2001 at his home. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Katherine; children, Otto (Kay), Helen (Harry), and Anna; grandchildren, Harold (Regan), Arnold (Jan), Deborah (Scott), Ronald (Ruth), Micheel (Giselle) and ten great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by other extended family and special friends. Carl was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Hans and Franz. Carl was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a man who had little but gave a lot. His children and grandchildren are truly grateful for his unselfish generosity. HUSBAND, FATHER and OPPA You can only have one husband, father and oppa loving, kind and true. No other friend in all the world will be so true to you. For all his loving kindness, he asked for nothing in return. If all the world deserted us, to our husband, father and oppa we could turn. For those of us who have a husband, father and oppa, treasure him with care, for you will never know his value, till you see that hes not there. To hear his voice, to see his smile, to sit and talk with him awhile, to be together in the same old way, would be our dearest wish today. Carls family would like to thank the Emergency Response Team, the Winnipeg Police Department and Leslie from the Medical Examiners Office for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carls memory to St. Lukes Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Reception to follow. A private family interment will take place after the reception at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
