Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD ARTHUR BIDDULPH Peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2001, Harold died at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 81 years. Born December 29, 1919 in Winnipeg to Daisy and Ernest Biddulph, Harold attended school in the Riverview area. He worked for the MTS from the age of 16 years, taking a break during the Second World War when he married Betty Evelyn Wilks on December 26, 1943. They moved to Ottawa where he served in the RCAF from 1942 - 1945. He then returned to Winnipeg to MTS and finally retired in 1978. Harold was very active in the Anglican Church, first at St. Albans, Riverview and in later years serving as both Rectors and Peoples Wardens as well as on the Vestry of both St. Pauls, Fort Garry and St. Catherines, Birds Hill. He had a passion for fishing. Harold built a cottage at Falcon Lake with his brother Dennis. In later years he joined the Lake George Fishing Club and served as a member of the board for several years. Harold will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty; daughters, Judy Persad, Nancy Norris (Bob), and Valerie Kor (Jim) and his son Barry; grandchildren, Carly, Lindy, Robby, Charis, Cody and Tyler; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. On Friday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m., Harolds Funeral Service will be held in St. Catherines Anglican Church, 3202 Birds Hill Rd. in Birds Hill, MB. Our family thanks Dr. H. Marr and the staff on 3 East at the Riverview Health Centre; Dr. R. Simkin and the staff on Unit 3 at Victoria Hospital; and Dr. L. Leboldus and Dr. Chadhury. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Harolds memory may be made to the Childrens Hospital of Winnipeg Research Foundation Inc., CE 501, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1; or the Victoria General Hospital Cancer Building Fund, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8.
