Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVINCENZO SCERBO Unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 3, 2001, Vincenzo Scerbo, 69 years, beloved son of Maria Concetta Scerbo. Vincenzo is also survived by his children, Charles Pasquale (Joanne), Connie (Jim) Yunyk, Gennaro (Maddalena) and Vince (Anna) grandchildren, Mercedes, Spencer, Daniella, Christian, Johnathan, Larissa, Senna, Marco. Vincenzo also leaves his brothers, Francesco, (Angelina) of Montreal and Mario (Maria). Vincenzo was predeceased by his father Pasquale Scerbo. Vincenzo was born on October 22, 1931 in Amato, Catanzaro, Italy. He served as a tailors apprentice before coming to Canada in 1955. In 1963 he opened Scerbo Custom Tailors Ltd. His passion and pride were manifested in the clothing he created for his clients and friends. Vincenzos passion extended and grew with his family. His dedication to his mother was an integral part of his life. His generous nature was part of his unconditional love towards his children and grandchildren. Vincenzo lived life to the fullest. His love to travel, to be with friends, to share a laugh and to be with family were important to him. Growing up, we, his children, would marvel at his work ethic, at the precision and imagination he used in the art and science of tailoring. He worked 60-70 hours a week, Sundays included. However, his work was not the most important aspect of our dads life. He always, always made time for his family. His family came first and foremost in his life. We can honestly tell you that our father, our dad, never missed a parent-teacher meeting, music or school recital or any athletic events that his children or his grandchildren participated in. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 6, at 10:00 a.m. also at St. John Brebeuf Church, with Reverend Fr. Joseph Driscoll s.j. as celebrant.
