PATRICIA GAGNON (nee GILLESPIE) On Saturday, March 31, 2001, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away peacefully. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Simone Stefanyshen (Ed) (Winnipeg) and Gail Michalenko (Ray) (Box 71, Group 374, RR 3, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2E7) as well as by her many grandchildren, Julien (Brenda), Andrea (Al), Patty, Diana, Matthew, Daniel and Christina Stefanyshen and Brad, Brian and Taylor Michalenko. As well she leaves four young great-grandchildren, Samantha and Chantelle, Emily and Owen. Pat was predeceased by her husband Jules; parents, George and May Gillespie; brother Gordon and sisters, Valerie and Eileen. Mom will be greatly remembered for making personal financial sacrifices (along with Dad) to ensure we had a good education and instilling in us those values to pass along to our own children. Mom also enjoyed her many summers at Grand Marais, playing cards with her friends and cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays. "We will miss you Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma. May you rest in peace." A private family service was held on Friday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., officiated by Father Gerry Ward. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
