ORVILLE KENNETH McGREGOR It is with deep sorrow that the family of Orville McGregor announce his passing on April 2, 2001, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Orville is survived by his wife Joan of 46 years; his children, Doug (Dawn), Jo Anne and Don; his sisters, Alice Critchley, Beatrice Burgess (Doug) grand-children, Cody, Alyson and Ryan, many nieces, nephews and family members. Dad was born on June 28, 1929 in Strathclair, Man. He retired in 1990 and found his passion which was working in his garden. One of dads fondness desires was going for coffee with the boys at the Sals Restaurant (Fermor) and coffee with his sisters and their families. Grateful thanks to Dr. Wong, the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. At Orvilles request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
