EXILIA (DESJARLAIS) CHABOYER March 27, 1925 - April 2, 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt at the age of 76. Surrounded by her only sister Rose and Norma and Pauline at the Lundar Personal Care Home on Monday April 2, 2001. Left to cherish Exilias memory are her sons, Wilmer and his wife Barbara, Maurice and his wife Olga; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her only sister Rose Boudreau; her brothers, Eugene and Harvey Desjarlais; her brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Mom was gifted at sewing and one of her favourite pastimes was sewing quilts for her family and friends. She liked going to yard sales on Saturday mornings with her goddaughter Pauline; also she enjoyed people stopping by to visit her. She loved old time music and dancing. Predeceased by her husband Christopher; her mother and father, Emerise and Joseph Desjarlais; her brothers, Joe, Louis, Patrice and Jules. Prayers at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 7, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., in the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. E. Kamath will officiate. Interment to follow in the Churchyard Cemetery. Pallbearers: Maurice Desjarlais Jr., Brian Desjarlais, Frank Boudreau, Alfred Chaboyer, Marcel Allard and Clarence Chartrand. The family would like to gratefully thank the wonderful staff of E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Eriksdale, the Lundar Personal Care Home, Aunt Rose, Pauline, Norma and Pam for their kindness, loving care and support. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
