Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY-ANNE LaROSA (nee deRIDDER) September 1, 1937 - March 31, 2001 Peacefully on March 31, 2001, Mary-Anne, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand-mother passed away and left her family far too soon. Born September 1, 1937, Mary-Anne spent her early years in rural Manitoba, and attended school in Winnipeg. She married Michael LaRosa on August 24, 1957 in Winnipeg at the old Holy Rosary Church by Fr. Fiore. Mary-Anne lovingly, and unselfishly devoted her life to the happiness of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her home was always open to family and friends for a visit and a home-cooked meal. Mary-Anne was also famous for her care packages. Mary-Anne was predeceased by her infant son Christian Dominic. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael LaRosa; her sons, Richard LaRosa (Lisa), Martin LaRosa; her daughters, Christina Boen (Randy), and Catherine Litke (Glen) her grandchildren, Sheri (Dean), Pamela (Patrick), Amber, Ryan, Matthew, and Ashley; and her great-granddaughter Shelby. Mom, you have touched our hearts and taught us how to love. Although you may not be here with us, you will forever remain in our hearts. Words cannot express our sorrow. A piece of us has gone with you. A service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m., at the Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Ave. During the season of Lent, flowers do not remain in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Mother is the name for God on the lips of all children.
