Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE ROSA BOULET (nee DESROCHERS) It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Boulet announces her passing on Tuesday, April 3, 2001 with her husband, children and extended family members at her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 38 years, Ernest Boulet; and her children, daughters, Paulette (Tim Westwood), Denise (Marc Rioux), Adele (Henri Levreault), Simone (Jason Bucher) and her son Dennis. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Andrew and Ian Westwood, Rachelle, Angela, Celine and Caroline Rioux and Joshua Bucher; as well as her sister Lucille Therrien of B.C., and her brother Alcide Desrochers of Mariapolis and their respective families. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Isaia and Marguerite Desrochers; and by her brothers and sisters, Norbert, Andre, Donald, Berthe, Jerry, Aure, Aldie and Jeanne. Lorraine was born in Mariapolis, Man., on April 30, 1944. She moved to Winnipeg, married Ernest and raised their five children. She loved children so much that she started her own daycare. She loved the children that she looked after like they were her own, so much in fact that the children all came to call her memere. Her special treasures were her grandchildren. She loved music, dancing and entertaining with family and friends. Funeral services for Lorraine will be held at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St., in St. Boniface, on Friday, April 6. Father Joseph Tran will celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens following the Mass. Cremation has taken place. "You are dearly loved and will be missed by all. With all our love." Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Lorraines memory to a charity of ones choice.
