Ed will be sadly missed by his wife Sharon; sons Don, Fred (Mona) daughters, Trisha (Jeff), Victoria. His beloved granddaughters, Kaitlynn and Breana. His special foster daughters, Richelle and Natasha. Father Henry; sisters, Joyce (Doug), Fay (Gerald) in-laws, Sid and Dora Hazelwood and their family. Ed worked in the auto wrecking business for many years and at Arnies Welding. In 1976 Ed went to work for Supercrete where he enjoyed many good times with the friends he made there. Ed left Supercrete in 1988 due to his illness. Ed enjoyed summers filled with camping, hiking and canoeing with family and friends. He spent the last three years of his life in Villa Youville where he truly thanked God for the wonderful care he received. Ed was a Baptised Member of the Richer Fellowship Church. Ed was a big man with an even bigger heart. He enjoyed volunteering at The Fisher Bay Bible Camp, where he loved knowing that what he did improved camp for all the children who came each summer. Because of his love for this camp and his very special love of children, we ask that instead of flowers, donations be sent in his memory to Fisher Bay Bible Camp, Box 270, Koostatak, MB, R0C 1S0. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Richer Fellowship Church, Richer, MB, South East Drive.
