Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySIMONE MARIE HENRIETTE CHEVRIER (nee SWAN) After a long battle with a rare disease, our dear mothers wish came true to join her husband in a place free of pain and suffering on Wednesday April 4, 2001. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Cliff; father Steve; brother Emile; sister Rose and special nephew Wayne. She leaves to mourn her three daughters, Jackie (Marcel) Gauthier, Caroline (Lennon) Dupasquier, Lucy (Joe) Szabo; eight grand-children, Stephanie, Cassey, Marcel, Kayla, Whitney, Aaron, Joseph and Clifford. Her mother Henriette Swan; brothers, Jerry Swan (Betty), Edgar Swan (Marion), Luke and sisters, Odette (Len) Wright and Lucy (sister friend). Special aunt to all her special nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Simone led a life of love and in devotion to her family, she enjoyed being with all the young people in her life; they filled her life to its fullest. Her grandchildren were the most important thing to her. Her life with children as a librarian for over 30 years filled her time as well as volunteer work for the community. She sat on the town council as Councillor for ten years and Deputy Mayor for four years. She will be sadly missed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Rodrigue Bouchard officiating. Interment in the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Society for the specific research of Polychondiritis. Donation to be made at La Caisse Populaire De St. Claude. Adams Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326.
