HECTOR NORMANDEAU Peacefully on April 4, 2001, after a short illness, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 92. Hector was born in Giroux, Man., on June 12, 1908. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Solange who predeceased him in September 1994, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who left a wonderful legacy to his whole family. He was also predeceased by a son Olivier and a great-grandson Christopher Kehler. Dad will be greatly missed by his children, Anna, Napoleon, Philippe (Francine), Cecile (Conrad Simard), Gisele (Eddy Langlois), Joseph (Bernadette), Celine (Edouard Gagnon), Leon (Pierette), Jean (Claudette), Helene (Philip Vincent), Rosaire (Jeannine), Jacinthe (Robert Mireault) a daughter-in-law Denise; and 41 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by a brother-in-law Emilien Decelles; and four sisters-in-law, Marie-Louise Boily, Alleluia (Looloo) Cote, Therese Desrosiers and Olive Decelles. Hector was a man of faith, integrity, kindness and courage. He helped his family and many others with acts of kindness and good deeds and remained concerned about others, especially his family to the last day. He leaves a legacy of faith, love, thoughtfulness and family values which will be remembered by those who knew him. He was also a man of peace and unity. For him, unity in the family was very important. Viewing will take place on Saturday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m., followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 2:30 p.m. at LaBroquerie Roman Catholic Church and be celebrated by Fr. Leonce Aubin. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Aubin, Dr. DeMoissac, the nurses and devoted home care attendants for their superb, loving attention. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
