MARY C. RHODEN Peacefully, following an illness since last summer, it is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Rhoden, 88 years old, on Thursday, April 5, 2001 at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre. Mom and Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her son Peter (Cheryl) grandchildren Todd and Tiffany; nieces and nephews, Margaret (Les), Neil (Gill), Jean (John), Phillip (Ruth), Michael (Val) Cheryls mom Thelma Picton; the Ladies at 60 Chesterfield, and close friends, John, Sandy, Blaine, Lawrence, and Pauline. She was predeceased by her husband Walter (December 12, 1969), daughter Joan (May 28, 1982) and her two sisters Lilly and Connie. Mom can finally sleep now and is where she has wanted to be for years, with her Lord and Dad and Joan. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church, Morley and Osborne. We would like to thank the terrific staff at the Golden Door and especially Val who was the last to be with mom. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Mary Rhoden may be made to the "Polio 53 Club" at the Riverview Health Cr., 1 Morley Ave., Wpg., MB R3L 2P4.
