(WILDA) LENA LIPPS (nee HOLMES) On Wednesday, April 4, 2001, following a difficult and courageous battle, our beautiful angel was taken from us, with her family at her side. She was born October 19, 1919 in Transcona and was a resident of Seven Sisters Falls, MB. Lena leaves behind her cherished husband Leonard of more than 58 years of marriage; daughters and spouses, Shirley and Jerry Crane, Shelley and Jay Ferens, Sandra and Marie Lips; son Ralph and fiancee Cecile LeDressay; sisters, brothers, and in-laws; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call for viewing Sunday, April 8 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard, Winnipeg, or one hour prior to Lenas Funeral Service which will be held in the St. Pauls United Church, 730 James Ave., Beausejour, MB, on Monday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held, with interment to follow in the Whiteshell Baptist Cemetery, River Hills, MB.
