THEODORE MARTIN MANN SR. May 27, 1934 - April 5, 2001 With profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Ted Mann Sr., aged 66 years, on April 5, 2001. He leaves to mourn his wife and best friend of 45 years, Ida; mother-in-law Anne Goldberg, and his three children, Mollianne (Doug) Orr, Benjamin (Tania) Mann, and Ted Jr. (Cynthia) Mann. He was the proud grandfather of Brandeis (Phillip) Listmayer, Colton and Jamison Orr, Emily and Erik Mann, and Kourtney, Brittany, Theodore (aka Austin), and Brooke Mann, and was the great grandfather to Kruz Listmayer. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Molly Mann; his brothers, Jack, George, John, and Ken Mann. He is survived by his brother Ervin (Mary) Mann, and his sisters, Kay (Alex) Boos, Lil (Toni) Krastel, Ilene Shackleford and Ester (Robert) Sharp and his nephews, Ric (Faye) and their children, Tamara, Sean and Carlee Mann, and Tim and his children, Darren and Josi Mann. As the patriarch of our large family, Ted Sr. will be fondly remembered for his unwavering devotion to Jehovah God. Our familys strong belief in the promised resurrection and life in a restored paradise tempers the sadness of his death. Dad owned his own cleaning business for 25 years, and passed the business on to his sons. He had a lust for life and continued to work until the end. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Monday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m. at the Arlington Kingdom Hall, 1060 Wolever Avenue, Winnipeg.
