FRED D. BRISSETTE On April 3, 2001 at the age of 76, Fred Brissette peacefully passed away after a long struggle with Alzheimers. He is survived by his loving wife Cecile; daughters, Lorraine (Jim) Miller, Linda (Dave) Erdman and Alice Brissette; son Fred; four grandchildren, Jeff, Jamie, Kristie and Jeremy; brother Arthur (Jeanne) sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Herwander and Yvonne (Jack) Kreiger and sister-in-law Margaret Brissette. Preceded in death by his brothers, George and Edward. Fred was born in South Junction on November 5, 1924. He served in the Second World War in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Fred was married May 7, 1949 and moved his family to Seattle in 1960. A year later, he started, A-1 Plumbing Company, which he ran successfully for 33 years. He is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Mass on Monday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Marys Road, Winnipeg and simultaneously in Seattle, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Columbia Lutheran Home, 123 NW 36th St., Suite 201, Seattle, WA, 98107.
