Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTEUNIS SCHERPENZEEL 1913 - 2001 Peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, on April 6, 2001, our loving husband and father passed away at the age of 88 years. Survived by his wife Elisabeth; children, John (Janice) and Martin (Anna) grandchildren, Beth, James and Angelina. He was predeceased by his parents and several brothers in the Netherlands. During the Second World War he became a member of the Dutch Resistance. Teunis and family immigrated to Canada in 1953. He worked at Andersons Animal Hospital, Kreskes and at Westworth United Church. He retired in 1980. Many thanks to Misericordia Unit 2 staff for their compassionate care during Dads stay. Memorial services to be held at Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Ave., Winnipeg, on Wednesday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2M8, or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 4G2.
