JAMES B. SHARPE Peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg, Man., Mr. James B. Sharpe passed away at the age of 81 years. James will be greatly missed and always remembered by his family, wife Mary; daughter Sandra Sweeney (Norman Fudali) of Port Alberni, B.C.; son James B. Sharpe of Glasgow, Scotland; grandchildren, Lynne Sweeney (Aaron Anderson), Jason Sweeney (Tannis) of Winnipeg, Jacqueline Sharpe, Karen MacDonald (Sonny) and his great-grandchildren, Andrew and Louise of Glasgow. James is also survived by his sister Margaret Burnside; brother Gordon Ashcroft (Margaret) of Winnipeg; brother Thomas Ashcroft (Jean) of Glasgow; brother-in-law Stephen Fullarton in Edinburgh, Scotland and sister-in-law Annie McKichan of Oban, Scotland. He immigrated to Winnipeg from Glasgow in 1971 and worked until retirement at Monarch Industries. James was a gentle, loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family. His life was spent nurturing his garden and travelling with the love of his life Mary. James Funeral Service will be held in Riverview Health Centre Chapel, 1 Morley Ave., on Wednesday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m. Our family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of 2B at Riverview Health Centre and to William and Irene OByrne for their constant support.
