IRENE HUSARIK Peacefully, on Saturday, April 7, 2001, Irene Husarik, age 80, passed away, beginning a new life with Christ Her Lord. Irene was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 4, 1921. She married in 1947 and lived in Ohio. God directed her family to move to Winnipeg in 1959. Irenes participation in Gods work included a downtown mission and later she worked for Care Services, helping the elderly. She always showed Gods love toward everyone she met. She loved to play the piano and accordion. She is survived by her two sons, Dean and Phil (Sherry) four grandchildren, Lisa, Karyn, Steven and Christine; one great-grandson Tyler; and her sister Joan. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril, her brother Andy and her sister Mary. Irenes Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m. in Evangel Chapel, 1073 St. Marys Rd. with Rev. Greg Janz officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Rd. WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
