ANDRE DERUYCK April 8, 2001 With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Andre DeRuyck on Sunday, April 8, 2001 at the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, MB. at the age of 85 years, beloved husband of the late Clara DeRuyck (nee Verstraete). Andre leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memory, four daughters, Lorraine (Denis) Mabon, Darlene (Richard) Berard, Doreen (Henri) Van Mol, and Annette (David) Kressock; one son Morris (Sandy) DeRuyck; nineteen grandchildren, Marc (Gloriann Schenstead) Mabon, Brian, Christelle and Darcelle Mabon, Andrew (Tanis) DeRuyck, Karolyn (Shawn) Knee, Dawna (Mark) Sloane, Jayne (Chris) Orr, Dean Berard, Leanne (Dean Stanton) Berard, Geoffrey and Kevin Berard, Michael, Dale and Glen Van Mol and Jason, Paul, Andrea and Lauren Kressock; one great-grandson Jaymes Thomas Knee; one sister Mary (Morris) DeRoo and one sister-in-law Jeanne DeRuyck, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Andre was predeceased by his beloved wife Clara DeRuyck (nee Verstraete) parents, Emile and Elisa DeRuyck (nee Mauws) four brothers, Gerard, Charles, Raymond and Remi DeRuyck and by two sisters-in-law, Duif DeRuyck and Clara DeRuyck. Prayers will be said from the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, MB. on Tuesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Firmin Michiels from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Mariapolis, MB. on Wednesday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Mariapolis Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Andres memory to the Lorne Memorial Hospital Foundation, Swan Lake, MB, R0G 2S0.
