CYRIL (CY) WALDMAN Peacefully, on April 8, 2001, at the Health Sciences Centre, Cy passed away at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Morris and Rose Waldman. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth; three children, Murray, Gary and Frances; three grandsons, Michael, Daniel and Kyle Waldman; sister Rowena Rodin of California and sister-in-law Beatrice Sucharov. Cy was born in Binscarth, Man. He attended the University of Manitoba and was actively involved in the Jewish community. He was Past President of the Anti-Defamation League of BNai Brith and other Jewish organizations. He founded Central Medical Laboratories and was active until his retirement, 17 years ago. Funeral services will be held at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, 561 Wellington Cres. on Tuesday, April 10, 2001. Please phone 452 - 3711 for time and details.
