JEAN KRAWCHUK (nee ZEBRINSKI) Peacefully, after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Jean Krawchuk, aged 85 years of Winnipeg. Jean volunteered for many years at Lviv Pavillion during Folklorama and enjoyed every moment of it. She was an active member of Sinclair Park Seniors Club as well as other Seniors groups. Jean enjoyed five-pin bowling and lawn bowling for many years. Baba and Gigi spent almost 30 years enjoying their summers at their cottage at Sandy Hook. Jean was a hard working and independent woman who was a perfectionist in everything she did. She celebrated 50 years of marriage with her husband John in 1987. Jean was very proud of her family, especially her grandchildren. She took great pride in preparing Ukrainian Holiday meals up to and including this years Easter. Jean is survived by her daughter Jocelyn Berkis (Ken) son Ken (Marylou) grandchildren, Chris and Mike Berkis and Nadine and Wade Krawchuk. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1988 and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 12 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will be held in Glen Eden Cemetery.
