ANNE HOWARD (nee GERSHON) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anne Howard, on Sunday, April 8, 2001. Anne was born in Broadview, SK on May 1, 1931. She married and raised her family in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; brothers, Mike and John; sisters, Josephine and Rose. She is survived by her children, Audrey (Douglas Weedon), Valerie, Edward (Janice), Darlene, Brenda (Metro Pietrus) grandchildren, Tracy (Victor Arias), Leanne (fiance Scott Bray), Jared, Shannon, Kristen, Miranda, Erik, Megan; great-grandchild Adia; sister Irene (Harvey Ostlund) brother Bill; and many nieces and nephews. Although Anne loved her children, her grandchildren were always her dearest. Each one was a special angel to her. Now Grandma will be an angel guiding them. We all miss you, Grandma. A very special thank you to all of the staff of GD4, Health Sciences Centre, for their care and compassion. They made a difficult time easier for us all. In keeping with our Mothers wishes there will be a private family service after cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation or other charity of your choice.
