VICTORIA BLONDEEL (GOBERT) (nee VAN ELSLANDER) Peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2001, Victoria passed away at Tilbury Manor, Tilbury, ON. She was born August 12, 1912 in St. Boniface. She married Adelson Gobert and resided in Blenheim, ON. Adelson died in 1949. Victoria married Gustaaf Blondeel in 1953, and resided in Chatham, ON. Gustaaf died in 1987. She resided at the Chatham Retirement Resort til last year. Predeceased by her children, Gerard, Walter, Edith, and Astrid; brothers, Joseph, Father Willibrod (Henry), Alex, Eli and Gus Van Elslander; and one sister Mary Bockstael. Victoria leaves children, Robert, Irene, Adelson Gobert, Isabel English, Wilfred and John Gobert, and Jerome Blondeel; many stepchildren, grandchildren and relatives in Winnipeg. Funeral will be at St. Phillips Church, Monday, April 16 in Grand Pointe, ON. In lieu of flowers, friends and relatives may make memorial donations in Victorias name to the Cancer Society.
