Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL EDITH DUNCAN (nee CAIRNS) On Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at the Portage District General Hospital, Muriel Edith Duncan of Portage la Prairie and formerly of the Katrime District, widow of the late Ernest Raymond Duncan, passed away at the age of 84 years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, on Friday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of the cremated remains will follow in the family plot at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Predeceased by her husband Ernie in 1992, grandson Lyle Kelly in 1989, three brothers, Russell, Sterling and Trevor Cairns, one sister Jean MacDonald; she leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Janice and her husband Tom Kelly of Lavenham, Velma and her husband Robert Rodgers of Beaver, Linda and her husband Lyn Snaith of MacGregor, Alva and her husband Ken Green of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Roy (Laura) Kelly, Brad (Charmaine) Rodgers, Delinda (Vaughn) Guy, Shelley (Brent) Zander, Vicky (Greg) Smith, Travis (Ginette) Snaith, Todd (Colleen) Green, Dwayne (fiancee Shannon) Green, Tara Green; great-grandchildren, James and Rayanna Kelly, Chelsea, Kennedy and Parker Guy, Mykala and Carson Rodgers, Keenan Zander, Curran, Jayden and Jeter Smith, Chloe Snaith. Also surviving are two brothers, Elmer Cairns of Neepawa, Chester and Martha Cairns of Portage; sister Rita of Winnipeg; many nieces and nephews. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Avenue E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
