Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryABRAHAM PLOTKIN With great sorrow we announce the passing of Abraham Plotkin at the age of 84, on Tuesday, April 10, 2001. Abe was born in Swift Current on August 17, 1916. Abe was predeceased by his sisters, Esther and Mary. Abe will be remembered by his loving wife Christina; daughter Brenda (Terry) Demetrioff; granddaughters, Barbara (Blaine) and Pamela; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Gabrielle; his sisters, Jenny, Eva and Leah. Abe will also be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Abe was the former owner of the Barbecue Restaurant across from Eatons. He also served in the Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Thursday, April 12, at 12:30 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Abes memory may be made to Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
