MARY DYNKAVITCH (nee BOBESIUK) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother at the Holy Family Nursing Home, on April 11, 2001 at the age of 85 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Robert (Lillian) of St. Paul, MN, Harold Davin and Alexander (Judy) grandchildren, Darryl (Kelly) Keen, Taras (Laura), Andrea and Darren of St. Paul, Jennifer (Grant) Buhay of Calgary, Christopher Davin, Jeffrey and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Nathan Keen, Dylan Dynkavitch all of St. Paul, and cousin Fred Bobesiuk of Winnipeg. Mary was predeceased by her husband Theodore (Fred) on May 20, 1967 and sister Anna Bobesiuk in 1992, formerly of Brandon, MB. Mary was born in the Ukraine on February 29, 1916 and immigrated to Winnipeg at the age of 13 and resided in Winnipeg for her remaining years. She was an employee of Old Dutch Foods until her retirement at the age of 65. She was a loving, caring and generous person and enjoyed gardening and looking after her home. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Special thanks to the St. Mary staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home for their compassion and loving care they showed to Mom. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Virgin Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Ave. with Rt. Rev. Mitrat Gregory Oucharyk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Marys memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3C 4G2.
