PENNY LOUISE HELGASON It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our dearly beloved daughter and sister Penny Louise Helgason at her residence on Monday, April 2, 2001. Penny will be lovingly remembered by her mother Willow; her brother Kerry; her pets, Patches and Peaches; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends. She was predeceased by her father Halfdan in 1998. Penny was born in Winnipeg November 9, 1959. She was employed with Seven Oaks School Division for approximately 20 years. Penny had a gentle, caring nature and volunteered her time freely at the Kildonan Seniors Centre, Big Sisters of Winnipeg and the Humane Society. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday April 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church in Arborg, Man. Pastor Otto Christensen will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Penny, I just asked about you and found out. You took off this earth ahead of me, and I was sad. We had a lot of good times didn't we, and especially when our families would get together.
