BOUCHER It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Henri Boucher, who passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface General Hospital on April 1, 2001, at the age of 76. He is now in the company of his loving wife and son. Dad was born on May 6, 1924 in St. Laurent, MB, where he spent 43 years of his life on the family farm. He then moved to Winnipeg where he retired from the City of Winnipeg at the age of 65. Henri found great joy watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. He loved his curling, playing cards and entertaining at his cottage in Gull Lake. He leaves to mourn his children and grandchildren, Gilbert (Lenora), Greg (Tammy), Lisa (Pete), Simone (Bob Ducharme), Dean, Jason (Charlene), Marcel (Leona), Darcy (Tina), Lee Ann, Paul (Karen), Landon, Courtney, Ronald (Louise), Rachelle, Estelle, Gilles, Rita (Bert Lacasse), David, Lucille; and his great-grandchildren, Bret, Dustin, Lacey, Joshua, and Tyler. He also is survived by his sisters, Annette, Jeanne, Pierrette, Clothilde, Yvette (Raymond Doiron) and Germaine (Adelard Bouchard) sisters-in-law, Anna and Lucienne and brother-in-law Julien Belot; and sister-in-law Alma and brothers-in-law, Leo (Cecilia), Arthur (Marnie) and Jules; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ruby (1998), his son Jacques (1979) his parents, Joseph and Camille; his brothers, Louis and Joseph; as well as his sister Helene. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., on Friday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Guy Lavallee presiding. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Thank you to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital.
