MARY CATHERINE OCONNOR On Monday, April 2, 2001 at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, Manitoba, Mary OConnor, aged 101 years, beloved wife of the late Gilbert OConnor of Elm Creek, Manitoba. Mary was born on May 8, 1899 in Uptergrove Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert OConnor in 1978. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Bert OConnor of Elm Creek, Teresa (Ed) Jubinville of Edmonton and John (Heather) OConnor of Winnipeg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Owen (Mary) Jubinville, Brian (Louise) Jubinville, Odile (Randy) Wowk, Gerard (Karen) Jubinville, Celine (Lee) Glenn, Gregory (Thea) OConnor, Daniel OConnor and 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. Funeral Mass will be held from the St. Marys Catholic Church in Elm Creek, on Friday, April 6, at 2:00 p.m. with Father Martin Houston officiating. Interment will be held in the Elm Creek Catholic Cemetery, Elm Creek. Prayers will be said from Doyles Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 5, at 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 2H8.
