BRAD WYATT April 10, 2001 Peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle with leukemia. Brad was born in Winnipeg on November 10, 1955. He grew up in the North End where he developed a great love for music and learning. He worked as a disc jockey for several years while in his early 20s, then returned to University of Manitoba to follow his passion for history. He relished the academic environment and never lost his thirst for knowledge. While in University he formed a rock band, wrote music and enjoyed performing around the city. He spent 23 years involved in the taxi industry as a driver, owner and dispatcher. His intelligence was surpassed only by his humour. The more inappropriate something seemed the more it needed to be said. Brad was a master of black humour and life long confirmed cynic. During the last few years of his life he really was able to indulge his interest in travel, this was a blessing for him. Brad leaves behind family, friends and a house full of animals who will miss him terribly. The family would like to thank Dr. Bow, the staff of D6, Cancer Center and the ICU for their caring and tireless help. Donations made in Brads name to the Cancer Foundation, would be greatly appreciated. A wake will be held Sunday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. at General Sir Samuel Steele Legion, 376 Salter Street. Brad will be vividly remembered by all who loved him... and all who didnt. He was a great presence.
