Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE MacLEOD BROTCHIE (nee CALDER) Peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2001 Annie MacLeod Brotchie passed away at Concordia Place at the age of 87 years. Annie will be lovingly remembered by son Harry (Doneta) as well as nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland. Annie was born in Caithness, Scotland on February 5, 1914. She immigrated to Canada and married her childhood friend Harry. Annie and Harry were honored as 50-year residents of Charleswood and she was very involved with Charleswood United Church. A 30 year member of the Elizabeth Rebekah Lodge No. 52, she was a past Noble Grand. In 1980, she received the Decoration of Chivalry. Annie loved gardening and was a loving and devoted friend to many people. Annie was a very gracious lady who saw the positive in everything. A private family service will be held. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Concordia Place for all their wonderful care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aannies memory to Concordia Place, in care of Concordia Hospital Foundation, 1095 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3K 3S8.
