ANNA DUESTER Suddenly, on April 12, 2001 at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, Anna Duester went to be with her Lord at the age of 93 years. She is survived by one daughter, Anna (Frank) Friesen and one son, Erwin (Ruth) Duester and their families. She is also survived by one sister, Elizabeth (John) Wiebe, and one brother, Albert (Adelina) Reimer in Germany, sisters-in-law Maria Reimer and Susanna (Gerhard) Goetz, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jakob, in 1943, as well as two sisters and two brothers. Special thanks to the staff on 2 North at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home and Dr. Jerry Bergen. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Portage Avenue MB Church, 1420 Portage Ave. with Rev. Abe Konrad officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing on Monday, April 16 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. and at the church prior to the service. If friends desire, donations may be made to Back to the Bible, 100 - 189 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg, MB R2L 1L7, and Family Life Network, 225 Riverton Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2L 0N1.
