DIANE GROSS It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Diane Gross on Sunday, April 15, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital where she was surrounded by her family. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jason (Sharleen Zubricki), Marc (Lauren Horsfall) and Jolaine Thomas; grandson Benton Thomas; husband Ron Gross and children, Adam, Israel, Amanda and Justin Gross; mother Anne Thompson; brother Van; the countless friends and family members who shared in her life. Diane was a very loving, kind and generous wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. She was born on April 17, 1942 in Virden, Man. and is predeceased by her father William Thompson, sister Cheryl and brother Hughy. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Ward, for the compassion and care they showed to both Mom and our family. A special thanks is also extended to Dr. Rosario and Dr. Nielson for all their support. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 700 London St. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Church gymnasium. Burial will take place at the Millbrook Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Gross, Richard Thomas, Jason Thomas, Marc Thomas, Adam Gross and Justin Gross. In lieu of flowers and if friends so desire, as an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to a charity of their choice in her memory.
