ANNA KLASSEN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Anna Klassen on April 12, 2001. She died very peacefully with her family around her at the Bethania Personal Care Home at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn, her daughters, Herta (Henry) Penner and Anne (Nick) Brosowsky; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister Maria Andres and brother Peter Derksen in Germany and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Henry and her brother Dietrich Derksen. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Bethania Personal Care Home 1045 Concordia Avenue at 1:30 p.m. April 17 with Rev. Frank Isaac and Rev. Gerhard Friesen officiating. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Martens and to all the caregivers at the Bethania Home. A special thanks to the staff in wing 200 for taking such good care of mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annas memory may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home 1045 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S7. Mom you will always be loved and greatly missed. We thank you for being a loving and caring mother and for all of our memories with you. You will be in our hearts forever.
