Prior to her marriage to Reginald Hobday, she was a supervisor at the Manitoba Telephone System. After spending two years in Saskatoon, Reg and Phyllis moved back to Winnipeg. They had three children, Lois, Shirley, and Eunice. Her beloved husband predeceased her in 1979. She continued these pursuits until her early eighties. She resided at 150 Hazeldell Ave., East Kildonan, for many years prior to moving to Extendicare Tuxedo Villa. The family would like to thank the residents, staff, and nurses for the kindness, love, and care they gave her and also for the concern and love of all those who knew her.
