Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE MIAZGA (GROSSMAN) 1935 - 2001 With deep sorrow, after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side, Irene Miazga passed away at the age of 65 on April 17, 2001. Irene was predeceased by her mother and father, Jeannette and John Grossman. She will be sadly missed by her husband Jean Miazga of 46 years; and her children, Jeannette (Gene), Elizabeth (Frank), Giselle (Bob), John (Patti) grandchildren, Tania, Christine, Irene, Candace, Neil, Devon, Chad and Jason; brothers and sisters, John (Gladys), Jerry (Merle), Rosemarie (Eugene), Leona, Betty (Len), Art (Claudette) brothers-in-law, Tony (Orise), and Roland; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. On November 12, 1955, Irene married Jean and resided on a farm in Dufresne, MB. She enjoyed her life and raising her children in the country. Irene was employed at Salisbury House (Deacons Corner) for nine years. She enjoyed meeting and making new friends. She loved travelling and the outdoors. Her grandchildren were her favourite pastime. She enjoyed their company and laughter. She loved entertaining and gatherings with her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be said, followed by Mass of the Resurrection, on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. in Notre Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lorette, MB, with Fr. Marcel Carriere presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irenes memory to the Lupus Society of Manitoba, 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6. A tremendous thank you to Ste. Anne Hospital and staff, Ste.
