HEDWIG (NINA) KRUSE It is with great sadness that Ninas family announces her passing on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at the Concordia Place Nursing Home. Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Loni Gooding, Barbara Karaz (Terry), Robyn Benson (Greg Provenzano), Jaime Benson (Jim Walker), Jackie Bauer (John), Teresa Taylor (Bob), and Bobby Benson (Rita Aquin) great-grandchildren, Tracey Jenner (James), Shane Gooding, Tiffany and Courtney Karaz, Trisha Cathro, Cory Cathro (Lori), Jenn and Johnny Bauer, and Riley Benson; great-great-grandchild Jessie Jenner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Nina was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1964, her grandson Billy Benson in 1966 and by her only child Amy in 1973. Nina was born on May 24, 1904 to Jan and Halina Sinkewicz in Narol, MB. She was the last surviving member of her family of ten. Nina married Harry (Tito) on November 8, 1923 and resided in East St. Paul where they owned and operated Deluxe Fur Farm. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the staff on the main floor of the Concordia Place Nursing Home. Their kindness and compassion in caring for Nina made her last days most peaceful. Funeral services will be held at the Polish National Catholic Church of St. Marys, 361 Burrows Ave., on Friday, April 20. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Wesley Cwieka will celebrate the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery following the mass. Pallbearers will be Bob Taylor, John Bauer, Shane Gooding, Greg Provenzano, Cory Cathro and Johnny Bauer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ninas memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
