Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMALCOLM GILLIES On Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at the Grace General hospital, Malcolm Gillies passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. Malcolms family farmed the Souris and Elgin District before coming to Winnipeg in 1935. He worked for the Winnipeg Transit until he retired, where he won numerous driving awards. Malcolm had lived for the past 17 years at Lions Place, where he had made many friends. Predeceased by his wife Lila, his mother, father and brothers, Clifford, Gordon and Kenneth. Malcolm is survived by daughters, Eileen Bunney and Marion Colclough; grandchildren Clifford and Fred Bunney, Barbara Miguez, Brenda Phillips and Gail Colclough as well as seven great-grandchildren; niece Diane Labadi and nephews Barry Gillies and Bud Gillies. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Lions Place, 610 Portage Avenue with Pastor Bruce Logan of Calvary Temple. Flowers are gratefully declined.
