WILLIAM HARRY DUBESKY 1940 - 2001 It is with great sorrow that the family of William Dubesky announce his sudden passing on April 16, 2001. Bill was born April 2, 1940 to William Joseph and Minnie (Meda) of Transcona. Bill grew up in Transcona, where he was an active parishioner at St. Michaels Church and where he attended Transcona Collegiate Institute. He went on to attend the University of Manitoba where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Science. He went on to further study accounting with the firm Price Waterhouse. From there he worked as the accountant for the Museum of Man and Nature and then became involved with the Graphic Arts Industry as the Western Regional Representative. This led to his affiliation with Baker and Sons Ltd. Bill later acquired Baker and Sons Ltd. and formed Baker Graphics Canada Limited, which he owned and operated for ten years. He was involved in many outside activities, such as running "The Perogy Shack" at numerous festivals throughout Manitoba. He was on the Board of Directors for the Winnipeg Football Club since 1988 and was a "True Blue" Bomber fan. In the past few years he enjoyed his time visiting with friends and family and loving his second family of dogs, cat and birds. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Norma; children, Bill and Christa; granddaughter Meagan; brother Richard and his wife Lynn and their daughters, Ashley and Amanda; brother Robert and his daughter Kahla. He was also deeply loved by his "kids", Rob, Peepers, Gucci, Nikki, Marcus, Perri, Spankki, Mitzzi and Calvin. Bill was also loved and respected by many friends.
