Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM BEVERIDGE MacQUARRIE Peacefully on April 17, 2001 at Grace Hospital, William Beveridge MacQuarrie died at the age of 76. He is survived by wife Gladys; son Peter (Verna) daughter Mary (Ed Smith) and son William. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Meaghan, Victoria, and Teri. Bill was born in Winnipeg and spent all of his life here, working for the Canadian Wheat Board from 1944-1981. He loved sports, playing for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the late 1940s. He was involved in the community, coaching baseball, soccer and hockey. He enjoyed curling, golfing and singing in the church choir. A memorial service to celebrate Bills life will be held on Monday, April 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Avenue. Reverend Nancy Sanders officiating.
