MAGADALENE POPOWICH It is with sadness we note the death of Magadalene Popowich on April 18, 2001. Magadalene (Marge to many) was born in the R.M. of Morris on June 6, 1922, and was married to Norman Popowich in 1944 who predeceased her in 1997. Missing her are daughter Phyllis Bracken, husband Bryan and their daughter Kim, husband Scott and their daughter Kirsty and son Kelly, wife Val and their children, Colby, Trisdan and Jordon. Son Darryl wife Bonnie and their sons, Dean, wife Cheryl and their children, Jordyn, Zackari and Gary, Andrew with Charlene and his children, Cameron, Hayley and Rachel. Daughter Fern Meyer, husband Wayne and their children, Jason, Samantha with Kenny and Kate. Sisters, Katherine Mann and her husband Aaron and Alice Popowich. Uncle Harry Adolph and wife Lil and Aunt Bertha Mueller. The family express sincere gratitude to all the staff of 5U3 and 3U3 of the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Their patience, kindness and compassion in caring for mom made her stay as comfortable as possible and the end most peaceful. Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. Urnbearer will be Jason Meyer.
