ROSE GLESBY (1912 - 2001) Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, Rose Glesby, age 88 years, passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Morris; two sons, Roy and Billy and grandson Allan; two sisters, Kay and May and brother Joe. She will be lovingly remembered by son Brian (Shirley) and son Robert (Ann) daughter-in-law Fran (Paul) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Rose owned and operated the Ballerina Flower Shop along with her son Brian for over 40 years. She was very involved with the Winnipeg Jets Booster Club and was an avid sports fan. Her vegetable and flower gardens, along with family were her pride and joy. The family wish to thank the Fire Department, Paramedics and the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 3-U5, especially Judy for all their care, compassion and support. According to Roses wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
