BERNADETTE MARIE CHAPDELAINE (nee PRIVE) Peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2001 Bernadette Marie Chapdelaine passed away at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Alexander in May 1974 and son Aime in 1979. She is survived by her daughters Jeanne (Ed) Kattler of Cranbrook, B.C., Leah of Winnipeg; sons Laurent (Joan) of Oak Bluff, Manitoba, and George (Virginia) of Canyon, B.C., 15 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Poseidon Central Park Lodge for their very kind and often special attention to our mother and grandmothers needs. Prayers will be said on Monday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 480 McKenzie Street. It is a time of great sadness But also a time of great joy. Sadness for us who mourn her. No more will we see her smiling face. Nor hear her loving voice. No more will we hear her words of wisdom No more have her helping hand. For her it is a time of great joy- No more pain and suffering No more sadness and lonely times. Only happiness! She has gone to her eternal home. Reunited with the loved ones Who have gone before her. And she can see the face of God But we will see her again one day When the angel of death comes for us.
