IDA HARPER Suddenly passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at the age of 42. Mom loved her children, parents, family and especially her grandchild. She was born in Norway House, Man, on February 15, 1959. She leaves behind to mourn her father and mother, Jerry and Beatrice Harper; children, Freddie, Cindy (Robin), Chris, Sheldon and one grandchild Faith; brothers and sisters, Mariah (William), Alex (Lydia), Helen (John), Elijah (Valerie), George (Barbara), Emma, Matilda (Gordon), Daniel, Rita (Melvin), Ben (Lorraine) numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. "Ida, we love you, and you will live forever in our hearts." GRACE AND PEACE BE WITH YOU IM FREE Dont grieve for me, for now Im free Im following the path God laid for me I took his Hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all I could not stay another day To laugh or love or work or play My lifes been full, I savoured much Good friends, good times A loved ones touch Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Dont lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your heart and share it with me God wanted me now, He sets me free. Wake services will be held on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 in Norway House, Man. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Norway House Church Hall, Norway House.
