GERALD "GERRY" LAROUCHE It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of Gerald Larouche, beloved husband of Maggie Larouche and father of Mederic, Dean and Monica, on Thursday, April 19, 2001. He was predeceased by his mother on April 18; his father; his brother Luc and nephew Serge. Gerald will be forever and lovingly remembered by his wife Maggie; his five year old son Mederic, son Dean; daughter Monica (David) his two grandsons, David and J.J. He will also be remembered by his brothers, Roger, Jean-Claude, Jean-Baptiste, Normand (Donna), Yvon (Louise), Daniel (Carole) and Denis; his sisters, Fleurette, Paulette (Albert), Estelle (Paul) and Jocelyne (Barry) his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, Corydon and Stafford, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Johnson, S.J. presiding. Interment will follow at the Assumption Cemetery. We did not know that morning What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief and shock severe To part with the one we love so dear. You bid no one a last farewell Gave no chance to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it, Only God knows why. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. Though you smile is hidden now And your hand we cannot touch, We will never lose the memory, Of the one we loved so much.
