I met Rene at the Winnipeg Modular railway Assoc back in 1995, along with many of the original members. Like the rest, he had many a story he loved to tell, and if you had an ear to listen, he would tell it to you. He took great pride in his Winnipeg transit train, and was an excellent club security guard. I got to know him quite well, and will miss him a great deal as I count him as a cherished friend. - Posted by: Charles pearce (Freind <and fellow model railroader ) on: Jun 01, 2015
