WINSTON "GRANT" MacDONALD With great sadness we announce on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at MacGregor & District Personal Care Home, Grant MacDonald of MacGregor, MB passed away four days short of his 71st birthday. Grant was predeceased by his father John; mother Lillian; stepfather Roy Glover; brother Gary; father-in-law John Roche; mother-in-law Nellie Roche. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 47 years Eileen; sons, Ken (Karen), Craig (Lorna), Barrie; daughter Jackie (Glenn) Purkess; foster son Ben (Dianne) VanDenBosch; grandchildren, Kristin and Jenna MacDonald, Jolene and Phillip MacDonald, Evan and Connor Purkess, Jannelle and Lucas VanDenBosch; stepmother Mary MacDonald; sisters, Bev (Don) MacDonald; Brenda (Morley) Plummer; brother Duane (Billie) sister-in-law Marie MacDonald and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service was Friday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacGregor United Church. Interment was at MacGregor Cemetery. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave., E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or to the MacGregor and District Personal Care Home. Clarkes Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
